How to start studying for UPSC as I'm for first year engineering?

    I am a first year engineering student. I want to start my preparation for UPSC from now onwards, as when I complete my graduation my age will be 22years and from that time onwards i would have to work really hard for the UPSC. But still during my engineering I can start up with my study. So i want some guidelines from the seniors and aspirants that what should I study, what reference books should I refer and which newspaper should I read daily., Should i join weekend coaching classes?
    please guide me

    You start with news paper reading AND NCERT BOOKS.Later you can catch up.
